Adobong Isda


Hello! Today we will share another famous Filipino cuisine that everyone adores. Do you love adobo, but you’re craving for a seafood? Well, our kitchen has your cravings! Keep on reading to know the recipe of ADOBONG ISDA.



You can replace your usual pork and chicken adobo with FISH, fish is a cheaper and healthier option! This recipe is a proof that healthy foods are also delicious, fish is rich in omega and vitamins D and B2. So let’s start the cooking now!



Ingredients:

• 1 medium-sized tuna (any kind of fish you prefer), sliced

• 1 medium-sized onion, peeled then sliced half moon

• 4 cloves of garlic, peeled then minced

• 1⁄4 cup of vinegar

• 1⁄4 cup of soy sauce

• 1 teaspoon of whole black peppercorns

• 1 cup of water

• 4-5 pieces of bay leaf

• 2 red chili pepper

• 3 tablespoons of cooking oil

• Sugar



Cooking Procedure:

1. Put the oil in a pan and saute the garlic and onion.

2. Place the fish.

3. Combine the remaining ingredients in the sauce pan.

4. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

5. Add sugar, soy sauce and vinegar according to your taste.

6. Then reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes.

7. Turn the fish over halfway through the cooking time.

8. When the fish is thoroughly cooked and the sauce is has thickened remove it from the heat.

9. Transfer to a serving plate.

10. Enjoy!
